As Albany is the capital of New York State, the historic district of the city has an impressive collection of buildings and monuments.

In fact, it is not only the capital of New York, but also the oldest city in the state. The site of the Revolutionary War - Time can be visited by cycling past the brewery, or you can combine a tour of an original Jackson Pollock piece with a visit to the state's oldest public art museum, the State Museum. Across the street from the New York State Capitol, an exhibition traces Albanian history from its founding to the present day.

You can zoom in and out of the building to see Empire State Plaza, the New York State Capitol and the State Museum. You feel like walking through the heart of Albania, with the state Capitol in the distance, but you're also zoomed in on the Hudson River and Albania's waterfront, and you see the city skyline, the Statue of Liberty and other landmarks.

If you are from outside the state, "Upstate New York" most likely refers to any part of the region that is not in the city. The Upstate NY region technically covers the entire state (except New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maryland, Massachusetts and New Hampshire), but just ask any resident of the Upstate and see what they have to say about the merger with NYC. The corridor stretches from Buffalo to Albany, and the Hudson River Corridor from Albany to Rochester.
